Shutdown Pi from UI #24

I can probably add this myself, but wanted to run the thought by you first...
I'm controlling my machine from a Pi 3+ and it would be great to have a menu option in the UI to shutdown or restart the Pi, like what Octoprint has.
Granted, in theory it could be done on any linux sytem easily but I imagine detecting if it's a Pi or BBB first would make the most sense as those are typically run headless. My only other plan would be to install a button on the pi that will shut it down when pressed.
Thoughts?
