Hello, i was following the instruction postet here on how to migrate from google santa to the new one: The only thing wich is bothering me still, is that after i perform the points under Step 1 i get on the test mac when running Am i missing here something? |

How did you deploy the profiles for NPS Santa and did you remove the old profiles for Google Santa? |

I deploy them via MDM (Intune). no, on step 1 we should not remove the old profiles yet. I only deployed the new Profiles and as soon as they get on my mac the old systemextension gets terminated |

Can you share the SysEx and TCC configs? We've not had other reports of this behavior. |

well, sure i just took the one from your samples and only edited the company name: https://northpole.dev/deployment/profile-tcc i have macOS 15.4.1 if thats plays a role. |

Ok, you'd mentioned Intune. After talking with some folks the issue could be that the profiles shared the same UUIDs as the old Google Santa ones from santa.dev. Most MDMs as I understand it don't take the UUIDs you supply however Intune may be different. If the UUIDs match then the system would exhibit the behavior you described. I've updated the UUIDs in our example profiles so that others won't run into similar issues in #384. |
