Use with Node.js 14?

I'm in a situation where I need to get off the old, unmaintained textract package. Your fork seems like a good option, but my application is still using Node.js 14.

I notice you recently changed the Node.js requirements changed from 14 to 16 in a patch release (which is arguably a breaking change for consumers of this package).

Could your package still be used with Node.js 14? If not, would you be able to shed any light on why Node.js 16 is now required?
