Coom-DL 0.75 Download Error Question

I am not that konwledgeable with these but I was using coom-dl .75 and it worked great. then i went to use if a few months ago and all it gives me is 'an error has occurred https. . . ."

i've tried doing on VPN off VPN. In different countries, etc. I've lowered the engine config to 3 and 7 rather than 9. it's not blocked by security program. i've even tried changing the coomer.st to coomer. other things as suggested by some people online.

Any ideas would be appreciated greatly.
