There has been a request for "I'm interested in this" on rigs, which could be cool.

Was crew tracking ever going to be a thing? You could be interested in a rig or fully commit to coming, perhaps with a free-form note e.g."Available after 5pm"

@tomtom5152 yeah, I remember the button on old rigs. Non-technical time:

• Is this feature useful?
• Why was it not used in the past, was it useless or was there system friction
• Can we create an implementation with minimal friction

Couple of ideas:

• Linking of forum threads and RIGS events could improve discoverability of RIGS events. I've spent time before trying to find events from a thread and vice versa quite a few times.
• A 'rigs this week' page, attach a link to the RTS email-blast:

Buttons are AJAX-y/XHR, page should take less than thirty seconds to use.

I'm not sure why it wasn't used in the past. I used it in the past, and it seemed to work fine. I feel the reason it wasn't used in the past is because it wasn't used (it only works if the majority of people use it).

This also makes RIGS have a use for non-keyholders, who currently get a calendar view and little more. They've got no idea what kit is going. While a forum post is the solution to this, we advertise people use the rigboard from the start; not having much of use on there raises the question, as a new member, "why have they made me join this glorified calendar?"
