We use the NDIP tool sources subgroup as the default git remote. This presents a couple of known problems for new developers:
- We need to manually add them to the subgroup.
- They don't receive ownership of the new project by default.
There may be no way around 1, but 2 seems like it can probably be addressed within our repo initialization script.
