A discussion about batch simulation

I need a huge amout of simulation data,so I want to use a code written in python to repeat the simulation.The python code and input file and output file are all in the attached file.But no matter how I changed the settings of source and sheild,the output data is all the same.What's wrong with it?I would be very gratitude if anyone can answer me.Thanks.

I'm not going to debug your code for you, but I will suggest that you simply look at the various input files that it generates. Compare the two input files where the source and shielding has changed. Do they look different in egs_view? Do they generate different output when you run them manually?
