Issue with egs_view crashing when using egs_ndgeometry Mac OS

I am using a Mac (M4) and currently learning EGSnrc. I installed EGSnrc from this branch instead of the default version, because the default version was not generating ptracks.

The installation completed successfully, and most components work as expected. However, whenever I use egs_ndgeometry, egs_view crashes.

Is this issue related to my local setup, or is it a known software problem?

Have you recompiled egs_view after switching branches? To recompile it, do make clean; make in HEN_HOUSE/egs++/view/.

Please try one more recompilation, but before make do make realclean in both egs++ and the view directory. This ensures that old .so files get removed and overwritten. Hopefully that's the issue!

Ah, I see in the printout that you're launching Desktop/egs_view, but the newly compiled egs_view goes into HEN_HOUSE/bin/osx/egs_view. Try launching the one in HEN_HOUSE instead.

I opened it from there same issue.

Note:
I check a good amount of examples given in egs_home, which works well for this branch but whenever there is ndgeometry it is crashed. I open ptrakcs file with no ndgeometry it works fine.

My last idea is to confirm whether the HEN_HOUSE/dso/osx/*.dylib files are deleted during cleanup? If they still are there after make realclean, then try deleting them manually before recompiling. Otherwise I am stumped!
