See the box shape inputs: There's no origin parameter. To transform it you use a transformation input block. Also, I don't actually see the global region number 5 in egs_view, are you sure that's your source region? |

Hi! I am working on a simulation in EGSnrc of a planar Y-90 disc source in an extrapolation chamber where I am aiming to score the dose in the collector of my chamber's electrode. I have built the geometry and in egs_view everything looks correct, and I can't see any obvious issues with my source definition or my pegs4dat file, but when I try to run the simulation, it gets perpetually stuck in batch 1. I've tried running the simulation replacing my Y-90 source with a simple point source and it ran without issue, which leads me to think the geometry isn't an issue, but I'm not sure what else the problem could be. Below I have put the script I am running, which I currently have very simplified to identify where it is getting stuck, and I only have set to ncase of 1000 just to see if it will run. For reference, I am attempting to run in egs_chamber. I am also attaching my script as an egsinp file, as well as the pegs4dat file I am using. If anyone has any ideas for what could be wrong that I am missing, I am open to any suggestions. Thank you!
