mjs files reffered in package.json, but not being generated with build command

This project seems to be the only modern example for typescript monorepo in nx docs.
I'd expect to be able to use it to start my own monorepo and everything defined to work.

module property in package.json refers to mjs in dist, but it isn't being generated
