Failed to install updates 0x80070005, 0x800f081f, 0x8024001e

Hey there!

I've got 3 systems running Tiny11, installed last year (2024). Everything is working fine, except all of those 3 systems have their windows updates broken:

Is there a way to recover from this situation?

PS:
One is not activated, the other two have paid/valid licenses.

Did you try ? Just to be sure there is no corruption.

dism /online /cleanup-Image /restorehealth 

SFC /scannow

Btw your iso seems to be old, maybe too old. You can try an update with a more recent ISO.

Yes its an old install (tiny11_23H2_x64.iso) quite old :)

I actually did the following:

net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

But none of the above made any difference.

I was trying to avoid a complete re-install, is it possible to use a more recent ISO to upgrade in-place?
