I am so happy to see this new branding/vision — it is much more in line with what I feel is the heart of the project than the more design focused branding.

I am very curious to see this new mathematical design system — as a fan of theming systems, design patterns and typography, I can see many places where parts of a design can be expressed in mathematical relationships, but I can’t even begin to imagine taking that to the full scope of a design system. Or perhaps I’m misunderstanding, I am no designer :-)

Great to hear the new direction works! Figured that design engineering is just one part of the whole solution. While important, it's currently almost like an edge case in web development, when React engineers have hijacked the conversation. I need to start from the ground up to bring the new thinking into wider public.

Mathematical design system is indeed what modern CSS enables. It's the polar opposite of CSS-in-JS and Tailwind. Cannot wait to show this to people.
