Description
While browsing through the website, I noticed some areas in the navbar, the Sponsorship page, and the overall UI where improvements could enhance the user experience. Below are my suggestions:
Navbar Enhancements
Call-to-Action Button:
The navbar could guide users toward key actions (e.g., registration or donations).
Suggestion: Add a prominent button (e.g., "Register Now" or "Sponsor Us") to the right side of the navbar to drive engagement.
Sponsorship Page Enhancements
1. Content Expansion:
The page currently appears empty and lacks sufficient information.
Suggestions:
-Add more details about sponsorship tiers, benefits, and examples of past sponsorships.
-Include a visually appealing table or graphic to highlight key sponsorship options.
2. Call-to-Action Section:
The page only includes a contact email, which may not engage potential sponsors effectively.
Suggestions:
-Add a prominent "Become a Sponsor" button leading to a detailed sponsorship form or brochure.
-Provide downloadable materials (e.g., sponsorship packages or FAQs).
3. Visual Design:
The page looks plain, with minimal visual appeal.
Suggestions:
-Add images, graphics, or logos of past sponsors.
-Include a banner or header image to make the page feel more inviting.
General UI Improvements
1. Content Spacing:
Sections like "DISC Program Mission" and "DISC Unconference Mission" feel a bit cramped.
Suggestion: Add more vertical padding and line spacing to improve readability.
2. Sidebar Improvements:
The sidebar isn’t visually distinct.
Suggestion: Highlight the active sidebar section, and consider improving its visibility with subtle shading or color differentiation.
3. Typography:
All text has a similar weight, making it harder to differentiate headings from body text.
Suggestion: Use larger font sizes and varied weights for headings and body text to improve hierarchy.
4. Search Bar:
Currently, there’s no quick way to search for content.
Suggestion: Add a search bar to the navbar for improved accessibility.
