Cursor not stopping at the extremity of a derivative graph #2422

@Currenttick

Description

@Currenttick

When browsing the derivative graph of a function mathematically not defined on ℝ, but defined on ℝ for the calculator, the extremities make the cursor "teleport" et the other end of the graph.
I don't think this is expected behavior, but feel free to close it if I'm wrong.

Example with f(x) = sqrt(x) :

Auto window adjusted by the grapher, browsing just before the "teleportation":

Intermediate phase, x=+inf, but the window is still thinking we are at x≈0:

After the "teleportation":

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the 'grapher' app
  2. Type 'f(x)=sqrt(x)'
  3. Enable the graph of the derivative f'(x)
  4. Graph the function, browse the derivative approaching 0
  5. See error

Expected behavior

The cursor should not be able to continue after 0 has been reached.

Environment

  • Epsilon version : last version (beta)
  • The platform(s) on which the problem happens: online simulator + physical device
