Programs updates the year to 0001 when provided 0000

Was trying out the sample text files you have provided. Decided to type in the command at the top as shown in the image. I understand that the year 0000 is a weird year, but it should be handled to drop rather than accept it and give it the year 0001. A bug still, but low since no user in the right mind would input 0000 anyways.
