• Hungarian_hu.app.tsv.txt will need to be resubmitted with UTF-8 character encoding. The file mime type shows as text/plain; charset=unknown-8bit. The file does not process correctly when treated as text/plain; charset=utf-8.
• Hungarian/tsv/v06/Hungarian_hu.app.v06.deltatotranslate.tsv will need to be translated to bring the submission up-to-date with the apps' translation revision 6 which is currently in process.
• Hungarian/tsv/v06/Hungarian_hu.store.v06.totranslate.tsv will need to be translated to provide localized content for the App Store web page.

Hi Marc, We are really happy that things are happening, we had difficulties for long time to make this translation happening. I am working fine with the files, but I am concerned about the delta one. Here I am translating "lang" column, and leaving alone "base" one, as with the others too? I tried to look for advise on github, but I couldn't find it. Many thanks, Tibor and the Team.

@MrTt78 The key_ or base_ columns are to remain unchanged. The lang_value column is to be translated. The lang_comment column most often remains blank; however, it can be used from some comment like "wording A used instead of wording B because …" on items which may need to be revisited. More information is available in the Quickstart.md documentation.

• Hungarian_hu.app.v01.tsv.txt received OK as ISO Unicode UTF-8 text
• Hungarian_hu.store.v06.totranslate.csv.txt (tsv) received OK as ISO Unicode UTF-8 text

However, the Hungarian_hu.app.v06.deltatotranslate.tsv.txt file has a non-ISO text encoding.

Can you provide a version of Hungarian_hu.app.v06.deltatotranslate.tsv.txt with ISO Unicode UTF-8 text encoding?

@MrTt78 Tibor, The Hungarian UTF-8 v01 and v06_delta tsv files have now been processed. The combined Hungarian v01 + v06_delta pair were then compared to the full English v06 reference to determine any remaining v2_to_v5 changes and gaps which required translation.

The resulting Hungarian_hu.app.v2tov5ComboDelta.tsv (46 items) provides the remaining items which need translations.

Some notes:

• dozeBeans.Serving and dozeVegetablesCruciferous.Serving are similar to what was already translated. However, there were enough changes across the versions that it needs to be re-visited.
• info_app_about_translators - it's completely optional whether or not any translator(s) are added to the translators list.
• peanuts is an addition for dozeNuts.Variety
• the other rows are "gaps" which have yet not been in the Hungarian v01 and v06_delta translations.

When Hungarian_hu.app.v2tov5ComboDelta.tsv is completed then the Hungarian translation will be ready to migrate into the applications.

The hungarian translation has been staged to be included with the ChangeSet v06 translation update. The v06 changeset itself is for all translations.

• ChangeSet v06 Translations Update #52 provides a list of the files which have completed v06 translations, intake processing, technical review, and migration into *.json, *.strings, and *.xml application files.

You will receive an email regarding setting up beta testers.

An iPhone device may require some additional steps to enable visibility of the translations, if the iPhone has not yet been enabled for multiple language use by the user.

The "Hungarian UTF-8 v01 and v06_delta tsv" passed initial UTF-8 format processing.

The translation intake (front-end) processing addresses several technical details other than verifying the overall translation content correctness. So, it was not until the downstream (final stage) merge into the application source code that I noticed the some content elements, in the Hungarian language, was not as expected.

Here an example:

Note: ChangeSet v06 updates … or snow peas to be … or sprouted lentils. The … or snow peas is somehow a carryover from prior translation versions, and missed the v06 update the in the "Hungarian_hu.app.v06.deltatotranslate.tsv.20250530.txt" submission.

I updated the quantities and provided some translation "placeholder" corrections in order to have a translation set for beta testing.

Action Item: The "placeholder" translation corrections are attached in the Hungarian_hu.app.v06.DoubleCheck.tsv.txt file. Please have the MOTE team review the 13 rows in this file for accuracy and post back here any needed corrections.
