Disable landing or redirect to docs page

Can I somehow disable the landing page or at least do an automatic redirect to the documentation page?

I had the same problem. I wanted to add the home page as the first entry in the documentation.

An approach where the home page is already part of the documentation (for example as an “Introduction”) is common in Mintlify.

After looking into layer code, I managed to achieve this, but it required overriding several layer files such as /pages/[[lang]]/index.vue and content.config.ts.

This approach is not ideal. It causes hot-reload issues: index pages do not update during content editing.
This may be due to an incorrect implementation on my side :)

A great option would be the ability to configure with less overwriting in the layer.

Seems like the best alternative is to do a redirect route rules indeed (will apply on both server and client). I've tried to implement it by using a docus.landing option but it's adding extra and heavy code which can be easily avoid by the route rules. If you can't see any blocking point using route rules we can consider it as the good approach.

I think it should be reopened. With redirection in nuxt.config i have a 404 error on page load and reload. On development and even if i build project and run it localy it redirects fine.

I think this should be a configurable option for Docus, instead just simply redirect to a path to be a temp solution.

It would be a very helpful feature if it were possible to use index.md in the docs layout (not landing) without overwriting the code.

Error 404 when docus with redirection in nuxt.config deployed on vercel. Maybe it's because of vercel's edge functions or something.
