Open in editor opens a new window based on vscode setting

current i dont see a way to change this behavior "project based" maybe the launch-editor thing need to add some args?
when i change to off it works
"--reuse window"

Can you elaborate more? Which VS Code and what action are you referring to? What's the use case of this?

Hi, i made a Demo gif

If e.g. VSCode is set to always open files in a new window, e.g. with a "double click" .
But if you come from the devtool it should be opened eventually in the same project window.

So you configure VS Code to enable "Open file in new window" but somehow want launch-editor to not follow that config, did I understand right?

exactly because from time to time I open files outside the project with vscode and it's confusing when they open in the project too that's why I have this setting

That's quite a niche case IMO. I'd suggest you investigate yourself and send PRs here or to launch-editor.
