Considered showing daily earnings, but this number would be underwhelming. The current proposal is to show annual estimated earnings, with a tooltip explaining the numbers shown. The annual earnings would be a larger, more impressive number.

I checked with @ptrus and he approves, stating that this data could easily be retrieved.

Additionally, we'd encourage and thank users for staking by briefly explaining the benefits of staking to the Oasis network.

On mobile, and when debonding is active on desktop, we'd hide the thank you note to reduce the space of that card.
