Roadmap?

Is there any issues a new contributor could work on or could help triage? I have been using obelisk for some of my agents to run on a cron job, run a job and have a sorta agent loop running. Would be interested in learning more and potentially contributing if there are areas to help improve the project!

Hi @aaronS7 , thanks for letting me know how you use it! I do have a demo of agent loop that can inspect executions and even self-improve - modify the current deployment and hot-redeploy.
As for the roadmap, I think that one noticeable thing that is missing is security, but I don't yet have the exact vision how to make the API surface safe.
If you want to help Obelisk, use it, file bugs if you encounter some, and make sure you show off what you've made in the Show and Tell section!

Mostly, but the upcoming 0.41 has hardening for when agents or tenants submit new deployments. To avoid exfil and limit blast radius, server.toml, which is operator-owned, must contain the secrets, allowed exec activities and outbound HTTP rules.

Did you have a look at current wasmcloud (>2.0)?
They do something different but with some overlap and they seem to be at the edge of wasm...
Maybe they have some things in the working which are worth to have a look at and may light a possible path following your great direction of simplifying things even further :-)
