Edit card linked note metadata from list membership on Kanban Board

Maybe this is already possible (and if it is I would be very grateful to someone who could point me in the right direction) but it would be incredibly useful if when I moved a card that was linked to a note in one kanban list to another if a metadata field to the linked note was updated to the list that the card was currently in. I'm using the DB Folder + dataview plugin to create a database for each item I have to stock with regularity in my house and would like to be able use the Kanban board to visually determine was is in stock, out of stock and what I'm planning on purchasing when I go shopping. This would give me the ability to than query my db folder on the various tags that I have for each of the notes that are easily visually sorted on the kanban board. This way when I go shopping I could query all notes with the metadata Kanban-List-Title = planning_to_purchase, Vendor = Costco, Type = Produce.
