Filtering in daily note

Can't seem to find this been asked but I might have missed it. Any how. I want to keep stuff simple and I have my daily note set up with:

###NOW

not done
due before {{date+1d}}
sort by urgency
limit 3

###THEN

not done
due after {{date}}
sort by urgency
limit 3

but with this I don't seem to get recurring tasks showing up. For instance if I have a task recurring every Wednesday it won't show. How do I accomplish that?

Hello @martinsnygg.

If the current instance of your recurring item has a Due date that satisfies your query filter, then it should definitely be included in Tasks' query results.

If you were/are expecting that future instances of your recurring item would be returned by Due date-based queries, I'm afraid that Tasks doesn't support that. The plugin creates the next instance of a recurring item when the current instance is assigned a Done date.

So when Done it wont automatically add a new Due date for the next occurance?

When an instance of a recurring task is marked Done, the next instance is created with a new Due date based on the recurrence rule.

What I was trying to convey earlier was that if you have a recurring item due every Wednesday and the instance that was due this past Wednesday has not yet been assigned a Done date, then a query for tasks due next Wednesday won't display an instance of this item.
