Mac installer issues

Hi, as the title states I'm on MacOS (Catalina) and I need help installing the plug-in. After following the instructions in the installer, the plug-in can't be found within OBS. It's also not in the Plug-Ins folder. During the installation I can't change the specific location it will be installed to and it doesn't even show the name of the file, so I can't find it and put into the correct folder manually.
Am I missing something? I'm at a loss since I couldn't find any info on the mac installation process.
