I would like to see an additional API endpoint created that exposes physical hardware devices connected as viewed in obs in the Settings/Audio/Global Audio Devices section expanding on the GetSpecialSources endpoint. The big reason for this is I am using usb audio cards and we had an instance where mic-2 could not access the usb device so in obs it showed: "Mic/Auxiliary Audio 2: [Device not connected or not available]" but still shows as active in the response from GetSpecialSources. Having the actual name (i.e. "Microphone (Sound Blaster Play! 3)" or "[Device not connected or not available]") in the API response would allow an automated process to validate that the soundcards are all connected properly and can alarm when a sound card has lost connection.
