[request] ocaml-mysql-1.2.4

Hi,
The ocaml-mysql-1.2.4 does not compile with Mysql 8.0. I checked the debian package for libocaml-mysql, and there the following patches were applied to make it compile. Will it be possible to apply the patches to the source in the repository? With the patches, the code compiles.

I don't want to add patches to opam-repository and would much prefer let upstream do a proper release. I've pinged the maintainer to make a release in ygrek/ocaml-mysql#13 and let's wait a bit for him to reply, he usually replies within a couple of days.
