Formatting of description is lost when viewed on the mobile app

The description box, when viewed via the mobile app loses any and all formatting. Anything that is formatted as bold, is changed into uppercase (which isn't ideal) and paragraphs are not respected (e.g. all the paragraphs are merged into a single line of text).
