Hi,
I'm attempting to re-download replays from The International 2016 (TI6), but both the DOTA2 Client and Opendota API consistently return corrupted .dem.bz files that fail decompression (tested across multiple environments: different machines, OS, networks). Example: Match ID 2558190331
Notably, Opendota’s match analysis endpoints can parse metadata (e.g., hero picks, events) from this replay.
Questions:
Are there replay file repair tools or methods to salvage corrupted .dem files ?
Are alternative sources (e.g., community archives, SteamCMD) available for legacy TI6 replays?
Appreciate any technical guidance!
