parameters and ports for execution

Hi guys,

So still trying to build Corsica / IDF / CH execution, and I am wondering how can I see which parameters I can set up for a specific component?

Also, how to choose ports?

Hi @balacmi, thank you for your questions regarding the parameters of a component: I will react on in it in two ways:

• improve the documentation (next week)
• answer you directly (immediately)

So the direct answer is:

Every component has a file on its github repo that is called odtp.yaml. In that file all parameters and ports are described with their possible values.

• Ports are described under ports
• Parameters are described under parameters

Ports are only needed and described for interactive components such as the https://github.com/odtp-org/odtp-travel-data-dashboard, that is mounted on a specific port inside docker. This port needs to be mapped to a port on your computer, so that you will be able to run the dashboard. For example the travel dashboard runs on port 8501. When you run it in your execution as a workflow in a docker container, you need to map that port to some other port on your computer, such as 8502:8501 for example.
