Reverse-engineering of a compressor map

Hello,
I am currently trying to reverse-engineer the compressor map of a compressor in a heat pump, for which I have several thousand operational data points. The idea is to run the TESPy model for each time step—based on known temperatures and pressures in design mode—and then build the compressor map from the outputs of this setup. The inlet guide vane angles (IGVAs) are known for each step, and the rotational speed is constant throughout. Other speed lines could later be calculated through the affinity laws.
My understanding of the turbocompressor is that there is a separate compressor map for each IGV angle (meaning mass flow and pressure ratio are not entirely linear with respect to IGV angle). However, TESPy seems to handle this by linearly adjusting the pressure ratio and mass flow. Am I understanding this correctly, or am I missing some correction factors? I also tried to find clarification in the GasTurb manual but couldn’t locate a definitive approach.
I highly appreciate any feedback or input, both on the methodology and on how the IGV angle specifically affects the compressor map!
