Clarification: Errors Report disabled and metadata not discoverable for first-time user

Hi,

I’m trying Open Data Editor for the first time and wanted to share a small point of confusion from a beginner’s perspective.

After uploading a simple CSV file, I noticed that the Errors Report tab appeared disabled/inactive, but it wasn’t clear whether this was because no errors were detected or if there was another prerequisite step.

Additionally, while exploring the interface, I wasn’t able to find where metadata can be viewed or edited. I wasn’t sure if metadata becomes available only under certain conditions, or if I was missing something in the UI.

I’m sharing this mainly to check whether this behavior is expected for first-time use, and to understand if I might be missing something.

Regarding the Errors Report Tab, if it appears disabled it is because it has processed the file and encountered zero errors. This could be improved so it is clear that there are no other prerequisete step (Maybe a green check, or a message saying explicitly no errors detected). (I will create a follow-up ticket for this)

Currently the metadata can be edited by clicking on the first cell of each column.
