Help needed to create Hisoft C TAP program

I would like to type a c program using say Note++
Then translate into the format ZX Spectrum understand and then transfer into TAP file, so I continue from there.

I guess you have what is needed however I don't know how to build the tools. Do you have tools ready with explanations or better with an example that shows all the steps?

Hello Micky,

you can compile c2tap utility using gcc :

gcc -o c2tap c2tap.c

Then you can convert your file:

c2tap yourprog.c

This will produce yourprog.tap file.

Managed to do what I wanted i.e. write a C program using Notepad++, translate to Hisoft format into TAP file, #inlude it into Hisoft program on emulator or real machine zx48K compile and run saucerful. Very nice program c2tap!
