Sounds like your laptop doesn't support suspend/hibernate under Linux. That's why I've left both these sleep modes as options. Unfortunately PC makers have rather spotty support! |

What's wrong?
I recently re-enabled the suspend and hibernate features since they were reintroduced in 3.3 However, running the suspend command and hibernate command only lock the screen, not shut it off which is preferred on a laptop.
All reactions
