Establish a clear process of setting up staging instance for a site

Most sites start as demo dashboards overtime becoming client dashboards, this makes it easy to fall into the trap of pushing changes to production directly which is bad practice. The need to have a clear process of when and when not to create a staging instance is important. The issue welcomes discussions on the best way to handle this situation.
