Switching from Home to About takes ~1 second

At https://astro-ink.vercel.app/, when I click About, then Home, then About again, the page takes a whole second to load. I expected it to be fully cached. Repeated click in that sequence still take 1 second. Firefox 133.

@dandv Do you notice the same behaviour in a WebKit browser or locally by any chance?

Running locally, the switching is fast enough (0.3s?) in Chromium 125 (albeit with some slight link "trembling"), and even faster in Firefox 133. In Chromium I see these warnings in the console for every navbar item click:

On Vercel, switching is visibly slow (~1s) in both browsers.
