process hangs randomly #262
Description
We identified a bug in all of the dcli functions that spawn a child process (.run .start, ...).
The symptom was that a process would launch and run to completion then hang.
This was due to race condition in the inter-isolate communications (via a mailbox).
The problem would only surface once in a hundred or so spawns so was rather tricky to pin down,
This has now been resolved in 8.2.0.
We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to 8.2.0 as this bug has been present since at least 7.0.0.
I will leave this ticket open for a while to bring attention to the need to upgrade to 8.2.0.
