In CONTRIBUTING.md, it is stated that River follows Google docstring conventions. In contrast to this recommendation, the code widely uses Numpy's convention (see an example here). To support this de facto standard, the docstring parsing code uses Nympy's doc library. Should the new code migrate to Google's style? Or are the contributing guidelines wrong? |
