I tried to test on that one but couldn't get my quota request approved... these giant machines are only useful if you want to generate planet tiles in 20 minutes or less. In general it's going to be more cost effective to run for an hour or 2 on a smaller machine with 32-64 cores, 64-128gb ram and fast local ssd. |

I'm still early on my journey on trying to reproduce and optimize a planet build. In my research on your example run I found that the c4d-standard-192 node may be a 35% cheaper option.
