Onyx + Home Assistant

Been using Home Assistant for years, and recently have been using Onyx for our household knowledge / AI Chat platform. And started wondering ... since Home Assistant has a community + many apps that already work with voice, maybe there's a way to have Onyx be the backing chat?

So I made a PoC, it's available at mikew/hass-onyx-conversation-agent

And yup, works pretty well actually! With this, you can talk to Onyx multiple ways:

• Dedicated hardware with Home Assistant Voice
• Android, which supports wake words, and changing your default Android Assistant with Companion App
• iPhone / iPad / Mac with Companion App
