Description
Description of project
The National Police Data Coalition (NPDC) is building the National Police Data Index, which will be a comprehensive database of police data from across the United States. It includes information on police shootings, use of force incidents, complaints against officers, and more. The Index is designed to be a resource for attorneys, journalists, researchers, and activists who are interested in police accountability. The Index is currently in development and is available for interested parties to test. The project is open source and contributions are welcome.
Description of role
We are looking for front end engineers to help us build out the User Interface for the web app. The app itself is built in Typescript and uses the Next.js framework which connects to the backend via an API. The design for the app is done in Figma and we are using Material UI as the baseline for the components.
Any experience level welcome.
