Introduction

Hey my name is AJ, and I moved to Austin couple months back.

I am a data analyst, and I teach data science at George Mason University while finishing my PhD there in computational social science. My passion lies in combining complexity science with social science by utilizing agent-based modeling, but my day to day is mostly typical data science stuff.

Languages: Python, R, Rust, SQL, C
Software: NetLogo, SPSS, Tableau, Excel, ArcGIS, Git
Methods: Various regressions, dimensionality reduction, neural networks, agent-based modeling, generative social simulations, dynamic stochastic general equilibrium
Other: Data visualization and story telling, causality analysis, teaching, collaborative coding

What I want to know

Open to many things. Getting to work with more GIS things or databases could be awesome, but I will never say no to building agent-based models!
