Bug Description
Ensure email alerts are configured in the environment.
- Create organizationA -> projectA1, projectA2; organizationB -> projectB1, user -> userAB
- Assign the default 5 groups from projectA1, projectA2, projectB1 to userAB.
- Login to userAB,
it can be observed that only projectB1 details are visible.
- Navigate to "Settings" -> "Email Alert Configurations"
- Enable userAB's email id and ensure email notifications are received in the inbox.
- Now navigate back to "Settings" -> "Email Alert Configurations"
it can be observed that there are some inconsistencies in the saved / enabled email ids.
it can also be noted that the as long as there are alerts in the system the email notifications are continuously sent to the userAB's inbox - there is no provision to disable / stop the email generation.
the workaround is to clear all the alerts or delete the user - userAB.
Software Version
v2025.02
Operating System
Ubuntu 24.04 (LTS)
System Setup
Intel EMF - v2025.02
Reproducible Steps
