Windows app does not start unless F5 pressed

1. Install the app on Windows
2. Start the app
3. The UI shows the animation indefinitely.
4. When I press F5, the contents are displayed.

It most probably boils down to the fact that the backend does not start within the timeout set for the UI. It does not happen every time.
Geti's UI in the similar situation displays an error and start again until it's successful.
