Imported Electricity renewable?

I would like to ask, if we want to consider the imported electricity as renewable?

In 2050 (at least) we in GENeSYS-MOD have to do so in order to be in line with the renewable target of 100%. But how about 2030? I see arguments for both points, just want to hear your thoughts.
