lukeina2z: Request to Join OTel C++ Community as a Maintainer

I would like to contribute to this project and keep a close eye on its ongoing progress.

I currently work on a service that relies on this project as a critical component, so I’m highly motivated to stay involved and help improve it.

For background, here is an example of my experience working with OpenTelemetry:

Anyone can contribute to opentelemetry-cpp, this is not reserved to maintainers.
200+ persons have contributed to date, while there are only 4 in cpp-maintainers.

Contributions can take many forms:

• report new issues
• comment on existing issues, including to help others
• submit pull requests
• comment on existing pull requests, for general technical discussions
• perform code reviews on existing pull requests, even when not having approver privileges
• attend the opentelemetry-cpp SIG meeting, for general discussions
