Why Was Asynchronous Pipeline Support Removed in main.py?

I noticed that in the following commit, support for asynchronous pipelines was added:

However, in this subsequent commit, the support for asynchronous pipelines was removed:

756d3a9

Could you clarify the reasoning behind this decision? I'm asking because I'm currently trying to apply lightrag to the pipeline.
