Description

This project looks specifically at how OpenCRVS could be integrated within Mifos Gazelle to support end to end use cases including OpenCRVS alongside other Mifos Gazelle deployed DPGs. Mifos Gazelle supports 2 methods of integration:

(1) Integrated Deployment in Kubernetes.

(2) Integration via hooks as an external component (e.g. maybe pre-deployed or cloud hosted) to enable end to end use cases.

I'm really excited about the chance to work on the OpenCRVS integration with Mifos Gazelle project. As a CNCF open source contributor, I've gained solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker, and I'm currently diving into Helm.

I've started exploring Mifos Gazelle's architecture, looking into its integration patterns and deployment methods. I'm also identifying potential integration points between the two systems.

From what I understand, this project involves evaluating integration methods—whether through Kubernetes deployment or using hooks as external components. It also includes implementing the integration and developing at least one demo use case that combines OpenCRVS with another Mifos Gazelle component.

For the coding aspects, I propose breaking the project down into these sub-issues:

1. Integration component development
2. Documentation and Postman collection creation
3. Demo use case implementation

I've joined the Slack channel to stay connected and facilitate better communication with the team.

I’m very interested in helping with the OpenCRVS integration. While I’m newer to Kubernetes and Docker, I’m a quick learner and have solid JavaScript/React skills. I can:

1. Assist with documentation and Postman collection setup.
2. Help test integration flows and provide frontend support for any UI hooks.
3. Dive into the deployment scripts and learn Kubernetes/Helm as needed.

Could you please assign this issue to me? I’m ready to jump in, learn the required tools, and contribute wherever I can.
