Description

The goal of this project is to implement comprehensive Group Banking and VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Association) functionality in the Mifos Android Client application. This will enable field officers to efficiently manage group-based financial services including Centers, Groups, Joint Liability Group (JLG) loans, Group Loans with Individual Monitoring (GLIM), Group Savings with Individual Monitoring (GSIM), Collection Sheets, and meeting-based operations—all with robust offline support for remote field operations.

I hope you're having a great week! My name is Prateek Singh, and I am reaching out to express my strong interest in the Mifos Save Mobile App #2 project for C4GT DMP 2026.

A brief bit about my background: I am an active open-source engineer currently making core architectural contributions to OWASP/OpenCRE. I also have solid experience in mobile application development. I have built and shipped WandR, a full-featured mobile app, which makes me very comfortable diving into mobile architecture, UI/UX flows, and API integrations.

I see the goal is to build an offline-first MVP utilizing Mifos' established Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) framework. I am highly motivated to adapt my mobile experience into KMP and start drafting the Figma flows and MVP architecture for this challenge.
