Situation
Currently, lifecycle information is hard to get. We need to be "aware" of. That may be a challenge when products go out of live.
It would be helpful to get an overview of all products and their current lifecycles.
At the moment, this is just an idea, not a fully fledged feature.
Use Case
Having a lifecycle overview may be helpful in these situations:
- Getting a general overview of what products are coming to an end.
- Comparing it with Docserv config to get an overview of outdated
lifecycle attribute.
- Perhaps to feed something into the releasenotes.
Possible Implementation
This could be done by adding a new command docbuild lifecycle [<DOCTYPES...>] which retrieves the information from the internal API of Aimaas.
