Description
Adopt openSUSE Light Theme & Improve Theme Switching Behavior
We currently use the openSUSE dark theme, but our light theme is still the older, overly bright variant.
We should update it to match the light theme used on https://www.opensuse.org/
for consistency and better readability.
Requirements
Replace our current light theme with the openSUSE.org light palette.
Keep the purple theme as the default. I’d prefer not to implement automatic system theme switching.
When users switch themes, the choice should be saved in a cookie (or similar persistent client-side storage) so the site remembers their last selection.
Rationale
The updated light theme will provide a more comfortable viewing experience.
Not enforcing automatic switching keeps the UI aligned with our desired visual identity (purple by default).
Remembering user choices improves user experience without introducing complex logic.
