I work across multiple projects in Codex at the same time.
Recently, Codex changed how chats are handled — new chats are now automatically named and there is no way to rename them manually.
This has made it much harder to stay organised. I often spend unnecessary time scrolling through chats trying to find the correct one, especially when multiple chats end up with very similar auto-generated names.
It would be extremely helpful if Codex supported one or more of the following:
The ability to manually rename a chat
Simple tags or labels that can be applied to chats (e.g. project name)
Optional colour-coding or visual indicators to group chats by project
Any of these would significantly improve usability for users managing multiple concurrent projects and reduce friction in day-to-day workflows.
Thanks for considering this — it would be a big quality-of-life improvement.
